Notes:
  1. Initially an AW radar with a transportable aerial tower array was to be used. An LW/AW superceded this radar.
  2. LW/AW erected adjacent to 104RS and was operated for tests and training
  3. Transported to Port Moresby the same day on C-47s
  4. Six C-47s were employed
  5. Camp under trees on bank of Samboga River (9 miles SW of Buna & 7 miles west of coast)
  6. Two aborted attempts were made to fly to Tsili Tsili. Successful next day
  7. Four airmen seriously injured, four airmen received shrapnel wounds
  8. Radar set up off the ground on 2'6" poles - Site adjacent to 622 SAW radar. This site is north of Gusap and is on swampy ground between the Ramu and Markham River watersheds.
