Notes:
  1. Personnel sailed on SS Taroona.
  2. On 11 Aug 42 the FS was staffed by RAAF personnel but under the command of Col Legge USAAC. [Adversity in Success]
  3. FS responsibible for coordination of airlift operation. At times there were 18 aircraft in formation and three such formations got through in one morning. Formations were covered by Airacobras, Kittyhawks and Lightnings.
