Notes:
  1. A MAWD radar was operating on Stradbroke Island before the arrival of the MK V COL. Before the end of March 1942, a detachment of 14 soldiers from the Royal Australian Artilley, 3 from the Royal Australian Engineers and one American arrived to operate a SCR 268 mobile radar. The american's duties was to drive the the vehicle which towed the radar from Amity Point to Point Lookout. The radar was moved from Brisbane via barge pushed by a tug. The radar was handed over to the 8th Air Corps Squadron once training was completed. 103RS, operating an Australian modified SCR 268 (MAWD), then moved onto the site until 6th Platoon, 1st reporting Co, 565th SAW took over the operation of the radar on 29 Jul 42
