  1. Unit was initially formed as 410RDF to reflect the fact they were taking over US army equipment to train US Navy personnel.
  2. Unit operated an SCR 270-B from 699th SAW Bn. RAAF personnel took over and US Army left.
  3. Mount Gungin. This site originally maintained by 33RS who had moved to Cape Naturaliste
  4. Trained both operators and mechanics, predominantly submariners
  5. Radar equipment packed and sent to USN barracks, Fremantle WA
