  1. Aerial tower and housing installed by Dept of Interior
  2. Radar site on Grassy Hill Cooktown
  3. The delay in operational status was due to lack of comms with the FS. 9FS had been replaced by a USAAC unit and they were not informed of 44RS status and therefore did not allocate a comms line.
