  1. Equipment travelled on MB 'Angler'
  2. Anson DJ 175 from Bundaberg made a forced landing at Indian Head and crashed into the sea.
  3. The vessel was towed to Bundaberg where repairs were effected. On 11 November 1944, another fire started which brought in the Fire Brigade. A passing cane train cut the fire hoses and the vessel burnt to the waterline.
